The daffodils are almost over so make the most of them while you can
I loved this daffodil arrangement so much I actually painted it in oils.
Here in the UK the daffodils will be coming to an end soon. They have been glorious all over the village and there are so many different varieties now to admire. I particularly like daffodils with a distinguished trumpet, often orange against yellow, or creamy petals. In this simple and elegant daffodil arrangement even the twisted spiral stemps look beautiful in this curvy clear glass vase.
The glass vase, just a cheapo from the budget home stores, is sitting on top of a vintage brass stand which adds a touch of uniqueness and elegance to what is really a very cheap and regular vase.
I used to think daffodils were a little boring but I am a complete convert and cannot wait to start adding more varieties to my garden for next year.
Daffodils I photographed out & about walking the dogs.
